Key Tasks and Deliverables:

The DVSA is looking to secure Delivery Management capability to support the delivery of the CVS Phase 1 Beta project currently in flight. The client side Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery of the other digital partners, representing the interests of the DVSA and the project.

This contract has resulted from a extension to the current in-flight project. The project is working to a challenging timeline and therefore delivery continuity and ability to integrate with the existing delivery team and project approach (Agile Kanban Flow) will be prioritised.

Working with the CVS Management Team, DVSA project team, Primary digital supplier (Deloitte)

Client side assurance supplier (BJSS), DVSA Delivery Management community

  • To deliver the agreed digital scope as defined by the CVS project governance function.
  • To ensure delivery quality meets the requirements of the Service Owner
  • To ensure delivery meets the agreed milestones and deadlines
  • To ensure delivery expenditure remains within agreed budgets
  • To ensure services developed by the project meet DVSA and GDS standards
  • To ensure service releases meet DVSA support standards and are supported by appropriate artefacts.

Experience Required:


Management of Agile digital delivery teams

Digital delivery to GDS standards

Effective budget management

Effective supplier management

Knowledge of DVSA digital landscape

Agile delivery within the DVSA and DfT governance structures

GDS Service standards

Integration of clouds with on-premise servers/services and data centres

Data and Service migration

Define and document enterprise and project approaches




Experience of Agile Kanban Flow methodologies

Experience of delivery forecasting using Monte Carlo simulations

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics

Mentoring and knowledge transfer
