Key Tasks and Deliverables:

Key responsibilities

  • Bring our priorities to life by planning and creating engaging and powerful videos and animations that tell our story on a wide range of subjects
  • Develop storyboards and narratives in collaboration with colleagues from across the group, and with external stakeholders, to create high-quality, shareable digital content that supports them and engages our audiences
  • Champion the positive impact digital communications, particularly film and animation, and provide expert advice and upskilling across the group in this area
  • Manage software licences across the group necessary for the production and delivery of digital content
  • Take part in social media publishing and monitoring duties as part of the team’s duty rota and during incident
  • Evaluate performance of content and campaigns across our digital portfolio, and produce in-depth social analyses and reports for each campaign, giving insight to other colleagues and officials, and using this evidence to inform future activities

Experience Required:

Person Specification Essential criteria

  • Strong practical animation and filming skills
  • Excellent time-management skills and proven ability to prioritise and deliver high-quality products quickly
  • Experience in photography, filming and editing
  • Experience creating engaging digital content using a range of digital tools including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Good understanding of social media trends, digital storytelling and audiences
  • Experience of social media monitoring tools, digital evaluation and analysis
  • Interest in/knowledge of learning and development
  • Excellent writing skill and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work flexibly with team members to deliver shared goals
  • Audience focused, with experience of explaining digital best practice to non-digital colleagues
  • Willingness to help others develop their production skills
